Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) will host a media availability to highlight a new art exhibit, The Soul of the City, celebrating Cleveland’s Black creativity, youth culture, and the rise of soul, R&B, and rock and roll during the 1960s and early 1970s.
Drawing from the George Shuba Collection, the exhibition documents three powerful forces that helped propel Black music from neighborhood stages to national audiences.

The gallery will be open for guests to enjoy now through June 30, 2026, including Juneteenth.

Media wishing to cover the event should register for a Hopkins Hangout Pass before the end of the day MONDAY. Please select Attend a CLE Event as the reason for the pass. The person or people signing up will receive a confirmation e-mail at midnight and then go through the Security Checkpoint when they arrive for the event.
