Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) is accepting food pantry donations to support federal employees who are working without pay during the partial U.S. government shutdown. After the generous response from CLE employees and the community during the previous shutdown, CLE is welcoming donations to assist federal workers in need.
Drop-Off Details:
- Location: Central Information Desk on the ticketing level
- Hours: 4 a.m. – 8 p.m. daily
- Parking: 30 minutes of free parking in the Smart Parking Garage or have a passenger assist a driver to drop the items off
- Please do not leave vehicles unattended on the roadway to bring items in
Requested Items:
- Gift cards in $10 denominations for gas, groceries (please no larger amounts, as to help us spread the cards among multiple individuals)
- Non-perishable food items such as pasta, mac and cheese, peanut butter, instant mashed potatoes, canned goods, cereal, baby food
- Household items such as cleaner, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent
- Personal items such as toothpaste, deodorant, lotion, baby wipes
Cash cannot be accepted!
Items will be collected through the end of the partial government shutdown and distributed to CLE’s federal partners.
