CLE Anticipates 200,000 Travelers Due to July Fourth Holiday

July 2, 2018

Press Releases

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) is preparing for nearly 200,000 passengers to travel through the airport this week due to the July Fourth holiday.

CLE reminds passengers to check the airport’s website www.clevelandairport.com for flight status, parking availability and security checkpoint wait times before heading to the airport. They should also allow extra time for parking, check-in and security screenings, especially at peak daily travel times which include: 5-7 a.m., 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.

With the increase in passenger traffic, CLE encourages passengers picking up at the airport to use the Cell Phone Lot located off of SR 237 to wait for their parties. The Cleveland Division of Police will also be enforcing traffic rules in the area to avoid congestion on SR 237.
