Hopkins Hangout Pass

Accompany a friend to their gate, greet a family member upon their return home, or simply discover all that CLE has to offer, from shops and restaurants to unique exhibits and amenities! With the Hopkins Hangout Pass, non-ticketed guests can access the airside of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport with ease.

Passes can be used beginning August 11, 2025. Use your Real ID or U.S. passport to apply for your Hopkins Hangout Pass starting August 6th!

How It Works

Apply online and receive your digital Pass via email– it’s that simple! If you have any additional questions you can email us at hangoutpass@clevelandairport.com.

Hopkins Hangout Passes may be used starting on August 11, 2025. Beginning August 6, 2025, you may submit a digital application no more than seven (7) days before or no earlier than one (1) day ahead of your visit. All Hopkins Hangout Pass applicants must submit an application. Applications for minors under the age of 18 must list an adult over 18. Approved minors must be escorted by the adult on their application at all times during their visit.

All applications require the following information: first and last name (as it appears on your government-issued ID), gender, date of birth, email, and reason for your visit. Once your application has been submitted, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your request.

Once approved, you will receive your Hopkins Hangout Pass via email. Use your Pass for entry at our North or South security checkpoints on the day of your visit.

Your Pass is valid between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. on the day of your scheduled visit. All applications are subject to TSA review and approval. TSA reserves the right to deny any application.

On the day of your approved visit, arrive at either the North or South TSA checkpoints with your digital Hopkins Hangout Pass and either your Real ID or U.S. passport for entry. Those with a Hopkins Hangout Pass are not permitted to enter through the Central TSA checkpoint, Pre-Check, or CLEAR lanes.

Pass recipients are permitted to bring no more than one (1) personal item such as a purse, small bag, or briefcase. All personal items are subject to TSA screening.

All Pass recipients are subject to the same security regulations as ticketed passengers. Please review all security reminders before your visit to help ensure you receive access to the secure side of our terminal.
