The Cleveland Cultural Gardens are a collection of public gardens located in Rockefeller Park on the East Side of Cleveland, Ohio.  The Gardens encompass two hundred fifty-four acres of tranquil, ravine like greenspace along a three mile stretch of Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and East Boulevard near the University Circle neighborhood.  John D. Rockefeller donated the land on Cleveland’s Centennial celebration in 1896.  The current gardens were founded in 1916 with the mission to represent the diversity and cultures of the world and stand as a symbol of brotherhood.  Twenty-nine gardens currently exist with eight in the works.  This exhibit acknowledges the Cultural Garden’s Centennial.
