Airport Tours

The Tour Program is NOW OPEN – effective August 1 through October 31st

Airport tours are available at no charge to schools and aviation specific groups. Our tours provide a close-up look at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and how it operates. We can customize a tour to fit the interest of different groups and grade levels.

  • Tours are available April 1st - October 31st
  • Tours are conducted on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and start between 9:00 and 10:30am and end at 2:00pm depending on the number of locations visited
  • Lunch is not permitted on the secure side of the Airport
  • Tours are available to both adults and children (ages 6 and up)
  • Minimum tour group size is 5 and maximum tour group size is 25 and includes adults / chaperones
  • Advanced reservations of four weeks are required
  • Tours are offered on a first come, first served basis

*Due to the demand of tour request we can only accommodate up to 2 tours per organization per tour season

Airport Education

Shadowing at CLE

The Cleveland Airport System offers a myriad of opportunities to learn about Aviation and the daily functions of an airport entail. We offer opportunities for middle and high school students to shadow various professionals within the airport and we also have unpaid part-time shadowing experiences for college students.

If you are interested please complete the application below and someone from our Community Engagement Department will be in touch with you. Please submit application four weeks in advance of preferred start date. All high school and college need to attach a cover letter and resume with the application.
