Red Line Maintenance

The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority's Red Line rail service will be operating shuttle buses from July 13-July 17, 2026, due to maintenance work. Buses can be found at the limousine pick-up and drop-off area. Regular service will resume July 18, 2026.

Assistant Director, Marketing, Communications, and Guest Experience

Megan O’Connell

Megan O’Connell joined the City of Cleveland Department of Port Control as Assistant Director, Marketing, Communications, and Guest Experience in March 2025. She is currently responsible for strategic marketing and communications, along with helping to create a more modern, visitor-friendly airport.

Assistant Director (AD) O’Connell is a proud Ohio native and a graduate of both Kutztown University, where she earned a BA in Speech Communication, and Syracuse University, where she earned a Master’s of Communication.

With a strong background in strategic marketing and communications and a passion for guest service, AD O’Connell most recently served as the Director of Marketing and Branding at Philadelphia International Airport, where she led initiatives that elevated the airport’s visibility while prioritizing meaningful, engaging experiences for travelers. AD O’Connell also served as the Marketing and Customer Service Manager for MarketPlace PHL, the concessions management group overseeing the PHL Food & Shops program.
