Christine Gilmartin

Christine Gilmartin joined the City of Cleveland Department of Port Control as Comptroller of Finance in 2010, and was named Chief Financial Officer in September 2012. As Assistant Director, Finance and Procurement, she is currently responsible for overseeing all aspects of airport finances, contracts, and procurement.

Assistant Director (AD) Gilmartin is a graduate of Youngstown State University, where she earned a BS in Accounting.

AD Gilmartin also spent 16 years as Audit Manager for the State of Ohio Auditor's Office, where she prepared Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports, issued financial statements using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), conducted financial, compliance, and Federal single audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAAS), initiated special studies of accounting systems, practices, and procedures, and established internal controls to ensure fiscal accuracy. AD Gilmartin is a Certified Fraud Examiner and member of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA).
