Community Relations

The Cleveland Airport System Community Relations Division develops and implements ongoing community outreach programs designed to foster effective two-way communications with various community audiences.

We focus on establishing programs and partnerships that address the needs and concerns of the Cleveland Plus region through opportunities such as youth programs, aviation education, a speakers bureau, and community and civic participation.

Using a positive, proactive approach to providing meaningful public involvement opportunities, our work reflects the Cleveland Airport System's commitment to balancing the need for regional economic growth with the needs of the community.

Community and Special Events

In addition to hosting our own airport-related special events, we support communities by sponsoring and participating in select industry and aviation-related events. Our involvement includes staffing exhibits and publicizing events that tie into the airport's activities and help increase awareness of the Airport System's community outreach and educational programs and services.

Airport Tours

Airport tours are available at no charge to groups such as civic associations, schools, scouting organizations, church clubs, etc. Our tours provide a close-up look at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and how it operates. We can customize a tour to fit the interest of different groups and grade levels. Tours are conducted Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and are offered on a first come first served basis.  Tours are available to both adults and children (Kindergarten through 12th grade). Advanced reservations of four (4) weeks are required. Maximum tour group size is 25 and includes adults/chaperones (some exceptions). Click on the tour of your choice below to reserve a spot today.
