Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) welcomed 925,425 passengers in August, up 1.7 percent year-over-year.

Through August, CLE has welcomed 6,808,414 passengers, down 1.6 percent over the same period last year.

Historically, passenger traffic tends to slow nationally following the busy summer season. Activity at CLE typically follows this trend and builds strongly for the year ending holiday season.

Passenger activity was less robust during the summer travel period than anticipated, therefore, CLE is revising its forecast and projects approximately 10,100,000 passengers will use the Airport in 2025.
