Cleveland, Ohio – April 29, 2026 – Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) welcomed 898,471 passengers in March, a 1.5 percent increase compared to March 2025.
Year to date, CLE has served 2,204,420 passengers, down 1 percent compared to the same period last year.
March marked the end of the spring break travel season, with passenger traffic expected to build again as the busy summer travel period begins at the end of May.
"As we approach the busy summer season, our focus is on keeping passengers moving and making the travel experience as smooth as possible,” said Bryant L. Francis, C.M., Director of Port Control. “The expanded Central Security Checkpoint is an important step in that work and part of our continued effort to improve the travel experience as we modernize CLE.”
