Synergy 2007 – Business Growth and Sustainability – Cleared for Take-Off!
Business Matchmaker event – 2007 Feature: Concession Development
Matchmaker

Why:
In an effort to meet Mayor Jackson’s challenge to ensure local and minority-owned companies benefit from business opportunities at Cleveland Hopkins International and Burke Lakefront Airports, the Department of Port Control (DPC) is pleased to sponsor the 1st annual business matchmaker event, Synergy 2007.  The DPC understands the challenges that small, disadvantaged, and minority-owned businesses face everyday in terms of growth and sustainability. Synergy 2007 will be the airport’s premier minority business outreach effort.  This outreach effort will be organized in a manner that will allow large and small businesses to create synergy through networking opportunities, workshop participation, and procurement insight from proven entrepreneurs.  The DPC realizes the vital part that small businesses play in the economic growth of the region, and we believe Synergy 2007 will be a perfect venue for businesses to network, gain valuable information, and market their services to airport contractors and consultants.
